Talking Points

Sometimes things happen in photography that can make you feel like you’re in a sitcom.  Here’s one such story.

It started out like any ordinary wedding.  Check the gear, pack up and head out to the bride’s house to start the day.  Only, no one answered when we rang the doorbell; I decided to check around back.  The bride’s family and bridesmaids were outside in the backyard.

With the door unlocked, Cathy went into the house.  She called out, figuring there might be some people getting ready upstairs.

“Who are you?”  A voice rang out.

“It’s the photographer.”  She replied.

“Who are you?”

“The photographer!”

“Who are you?”

“It’s the photographer!”

At this point, an exasperated Cathy stepped around the corner into the living room and came face to face with two African Grey Parrots.

“Who are you?”  Asked the one on the left.
